There are many local walks for you and your dog, ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours. Ask our bar staff for the best ideas for dog walks, but our personal favourites are the "Millenium Walk" for a quick 30 minutes, or a trek through Glen Garr to Dunkeld (followed by a quick "refreshment" and then catch the bus back), takes about 3 hours. The Hermitage is also highly popular with dog walkers and is a joy to walk amongst the biggest trees in the country, great in all seasons.

With that in mind, we're keen to welcome other dog owners and their dogs to our hotel. For our restaurant, well-behaved dogs are welcome during dinner service. For our overnight hotel guests, you are welcome to have your dog(s) in your room.

We're an award-winning, family run hotel located in the heart of Perthshire in Scotland. As dog owners ourselves, we know that there are not many places you can go and stay overnight or dine with your dog.

Pub Dogs

We have two black labradors, "Otis" and "Ruadh", they'll make you feel welcome. When they're not looking for your attention, they can be found laid out in front of the fire. We also have "Kasha" the cat, usually sleeping, curled up on a cushion.
