Rab & Susan Wallace took over the Bankfoot Inn in October 2007.
We're located in the Perthshire village of Bankfoot, about
6 miles north of the city of Perth, just off the A9 (the main road north).
Located in the heart of Perthshire, we are ideally placed as a base for
weekend breaks and longer stays. We have both public bar and lounge bar with
adjoining restaurant. Accommodation is spread across five comfortable rooms and
we offer single, twin and double rooms. The Inn offers a great atmosphere set in a real
Scottish country inn along with great food, prepared by our chef, served in our restaurant.
Our lounge bar and resturant have been recently refurbished.
The new space offers a very traditional and comfortable atmosphere, complete with open fires, the ideal
place to sample our ever-growing collection of single malts.
We cater for hiking, shooting and fishing parties.
Private functions can secure the restaurant and lounge bar for private hire.

Real Ale now on tap
We have introduced Real Ale to the bar and are currently serving ales from the Inveralmond Brewery.

Restaurant refurbishment
The restaurant will be closed for most of January whilst we redecorate. There's a lot to do, plus
the floor needs to be replaced!

Restaurant re-opening!
It's taken far longer than anticipated, but we're pleased to say the restaurant will be reopening on
Wednesday 13th February. We are now taking bookings for Valentines day.

Lounge Bar returning
As promised, the lounge bar will finally return this month. We are in the final stages of constructing it.

The Bankfoot Inn Pub Quiz - 11/03/2008
Our first quiz night was a success. Congratulations to "The Three Degrees" team. We aim to hold a monthly
quiz night on the second Tuesday of every month (with a break over the summer weeks). All teams welcome to compete.

Anduril will be playing Friday 4th July, 9pm. Free Entry.
Anduril, a six-piece, Runrig-inspired, rock band are coming over from Germany on their
"The Road to Elgol" tour. This will be one of only a few UK dates to see them.
This will be a loud evening. Oh yes.
