Bankfoot Inn: Walking & Hiking in Perthshire
The Bankfoot Inn is a traditional 18th century Scottish Inn in the heart of Perthshire. We are a small, family-run hotel located in the village of Bankfoot, just south of Dunkeld. Located centrally, there are a vast choice of walks of all levels to explore. On our doorstep, we have the Obney hills, miles of riverside walks along the River Tay and also the Hermitage, a woodland walk along the River Braan.

After your day out, relax in our lounge bar by the roaring fire and plan the next adventure over a glass of fine malt whisky.
Walkers keen to get "out there" can reach Glen Garr and the Obney Hills within an hours walk from our front door, and another hours walk you can reach Birnam and Dunkeld. For bigger adventures, we're only a short drive from the Cairngorm National Park and its many mountains and glens. When your staying with us, ask at out bar and we can suggest many more places you can go hiking and exploring.
Scottish Coast to Coast
We are on the Scottish Coast to Coast route (Perth to Fort William) for many walking companies. They will create an itinerary for you and arrange your accommodation, including your stopover here at the Bankfoot Inn.

Laundry & Drying Facilities
Wet or dirty clothing can be laundered and dried if required. Just ask at the bar and we'll do the rest. Ironing facilities available.
