A Country Restaurant in Perthshire
The Bankfoot Inn is a traditional inn dating from the 1760's. Our family friendly restaurant offers a relaxed, informal and comfortable space in which to enjoy home cooked food. We're located in the heart of Perthshire, just 6 miles between Perth and Dunkeld.
All our food is home cooked and we use local produce, whenever possible. In the cooler evenings, the atmosphere is warmed by our open fires and wood burning stove.
Our menus are traditional as well as varied, serving favourites like our best selling fresh haddock & chips and steak pie. We offer daily specials as well. We are open for lunches and dinners (check our Opening Hours).
We aim to provide a welcoming dining experience for all guests and are happy to answer questions about the ingredients in our dishes. Please speak to a member of our team if you have any concerns.
Due to the size of our premises and shared kitchen equipment, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from allergens, and cross-contamination is always possible. While we do our best to accommodate reasonable requests, we are not able to make extensive changes to dishes or fully cater for special dietary requirements. All allergen information is provided in good faith, and meals are enjoyed at the customer’s own risk.

​We are committed to using locally sourced produce wherever possible, working with trusted suppliers to ensure quality and freshness. Our ingredients are carefully selected to provide the best flavour and consistency across our menu, with a focus on fresh, seasonal produce.

Sunday Roast
Every Sunday, we serve traditional Sunday Roast, both for lunch and dinner. If you are after the roast, it may be best to book and let us know to avoid disappointment.
