hard experience and bright, new talent.
Wolftrain is a Band with horns that give them their unique sound.
Their style is authentic Blues, Rock and Roll, Swing and also some
original material. They "Boogie with the Best" and over the years
have supported Jack Bruce, Dr Feelgood, The Blues Band and Otis Grand.

We are hosting a Charity Auction in aid of MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS RESEARCH. The evening has been arranged by Dan Macleod and the auctioneer will be the very entertaining David Leggett himself. Doors open at 5.30pm (when the bar opens!) and the auction is from 8pm. There is an excellent range of items on offer. Everyone is invited to come along and have a bit of fun.

The Bankfoot Inn has been listed in the Good Beer Guide (the prestigious publication by CAMRA, "Campaign for Real Ale"). This is a reflection of quality of ale on offer.

We've made it in to the final three for Independent Pub of the Year. We'll find out at the end of October how we did.

The Bankfoot Inn has been shortlisted for the Independent Pub of the Year. This is an award sponsored by the SLTN (Scottish Licensed Trade News). The judges will visit soon to assess us.

New Cellar Operational

Over the past few weeks, we've been installing a new beer cellar. This has now gone operational. With the correct refrigeration and proper cask stillage, beer quality (and range) will improve.

It's taken far longer than anticipated, but we're pleased to say the restaurant will be reopening on
Wednesday 13th February. We are now taking bookings for Valentines day.
